University of Tsukuba Research Project
SBI XDC Network APAC and the University of Tsukuba have launched a joint research project focused on the technical capabilities of the XDC Network. The collaboration will examine areas including smart contracts, token design, and on-chain/off-chain integration, contributing to broader research around enterprise blockchain infrastructure and real-world implementation.

SettleMint Joins XDC Network
XVC Tech and SettleMint have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to support real-world asset tokenization and institutional adoption on the XDC Network. The collaboration includes SettleMint becoming an institutional masternode validator and leveraging its Digital Asset Lifecycle Platform to help financial institutions and market participants build compliant digital asset solutions on XDC.

DFNS now supports staking on the XDC Network, enabling institutions to stake and unstake XDC through the same custody and governance framework used for their broader digital asset operations. The integration extends institutional infrastructure on XDC by combining staking with policy controls, transaction approvals, and secure asset management.

CertiK, Blueprint, Hivemind Digital, InvestaX, and IXS have joined the XDC Network as institutional validators. The additions further expand the network’s validator ecosystem, supporting decentralization and strengthening infrastructure for enterprise and institutional blockchain applications.

XDC Network members participated in Telekom & Friends Vol. 3 in Berlin, joining institutional discussions hosted by Deutsche Telekom MMS. The event focused on topics including trade finance tokenization, Europe's evolving digital asset infrastructure following MiCA, and the growing role of institutional validators in blockchain networks.
